I don’t think arranged marriages would work in modern society. There would be many marriages that wouldn’t work and get along and many people would try to leave each other. I think many people would cheat and try to get with other people that they actually love instead of being forced. In arranged marriages the couples usually don’t truly love each other, and in modern american society there would be many fights, arguments, etc. We all have rights, so I don’t think arranged marriages are the right thing.
In America, everyone is always saying how they should be in control of their life and people don’t like it when others try to control them so that is why arranged marriages wouldn’t work in modern american society.
